Adam White, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac., M.T.C.M. received his Master’s degree in Tra­di­tional Chi­nese Med­i­cine (M.T.C.M.) from Five Branches Uni­ver­sity where he has served as a fac­ulty mem­ber and as an admin­is­tra­tor.  He stud­ied Qi Gong at the Chang Ching Insti­tute under the aus­pices of Pro­fes­sor Wae Shui.  He is a National Diplo­mate of Acupunc­ture and is a licensed acupunc­tur­ist and herbal­ist through the Med­ical Board of Cal­i­for­nia.  Adam White, L.Ac. is the CEO of the Health­care Med­i­cine Insti­tute (HealthCMI). HealthCMI pub­lishes edu­ca­tional mate­ri­als for acupunc­ture CEUs and trans­lates tra­di­tional Chi­nese med­i­cine texts for licensed acupuncturists.

For over 18 years, I have suc­cess­fully treated patients with acupunc­ture and herbal med­i­cine in Santa Cruz. I use both tra­di­tional and mod­ern approaches to Chi­nese med­i­cine to pro­vide the fastest and most effec­tive relief pos­si­ble. Patients are often sur­prised to find that acupunc­ture treat­ments are com­fort­able, relax­ing and often pro­vide imme­di­ate relief from pain and suf­fer­ing. Patients with back, neck, shoul­der and knee pain often see results very quickly. Patients suf­fer­ing from headaches, migraines, stress and nau­sea also get rapid results. Many con­di­tions take under two weeks to see sig­nif­i­cant results. This applies to the treat­ment of hot flashes, night sweats, acid reflux and severe disc degen­er­a­tion related pain. Allergy suf­fer­ers get relief with acupunc­ture but often require herbal med­i­cine to sup­ple­ment the acupunc­ture care.
